Colvin Update
Hi! it's great to see everybody's pictures! Happy Birthday to Jansen, Emily and Sophie! I will have Jana help me with pictures so we can be cool also! Megan is on her way home from a short stay at PCMC. Thank you everyone for prayers in her behalf. She is going to be fine but gave us all quite a scare. Chris had another great week in the mission field and Jana has started her career as a collegiate runner. Nick thinks lunch at Jr. High is great! We love all of you and pray for you all daily. Take care! Sonya
A lot of "old" people having fun!

Saturday August 22, 2009, The Weber High Class of 1979 gathered at the Timbermine to reunite some 30 years after high school graduation. Fun to see friends from long ago. It was a different experience than the 20 year reunion in that life seems to have settled in on everyone a bit more and the mood was quite different than 10 years previous. Fun to catch up with some I have not seen or spoken with for literally 30 years. In Japanese there is an expression which captures the feeling best "Natsukashii". Translation would suggest that feeling that takes you back to some pleasant memories or experiences. It was truly natsukashikata!

Church History 2009
Just returned from two weeks of Church History. We flew to Chicago and traveled to Kirtland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Springfield, IL, St. Louis, Liberty, Independence, Far West, Richmond, Adam-ondi-Ahman, Nauvoo and Carthage. Pictures will tell much of the story of our experience. I may post some later. We are grateful that we could have everybody with us. We were blessed with safety, good weather, too much GOOD food, and some very meaningful experiences walking in the paths of History.

I'm trying to figure this out!
Hi Everyone !
This is my 1st attempt at blogging. No laughing please. I think it would be great to have this as a way to keep in touch. We are all doing okay at our house. School (college and Jr. High) start on my birthday. Yay! Oh I mean, so sad summer is almost over. We had a great trip to California and saw amazing things. We were lucky to go to Karen & Brians house and spend some time with them. We found the treasure trove of sea glass and I think I need to go back there very soon! Chris is doing well and comes home in 5 months. Where does the time go. Jana is going to help me post a couple of pictures from our trip. I'll send them later.
Love you all!

BLOG NEWS
Hello everyone,
I have asked Stephanie to help manage and design the family blog. She is so much better with the blogs than I. I am grateful that she will help us as we try to establish this place where we can share family messages and stay connected.
If you are having trouble viewing or posting to the blog would you email Stephanie or myself and we will help you get started. You can reach either one of us at: reganhowell@gmail or stefanie.horsley@gmail.com
Lets try and make this work - I am not asking you to throw The Jonas Brothers on your iPod and blog it out like a bunch of tweens but it would be great if there was just one message a month from your family.
If you would prefer to send me the message via email I would be happy to post in your behalf.
Again, a big thank you to Stephanie for her help as we continue create and develop the family blog.
Love,
Regan
